Wedding Hair Style Ideas: . Wearing Your Hair Up ~~ Wearing your hair up is a great option for wedding hair. It gives off a formal vibe, so go with a style like this if you are having a formal affair, or if you want to show off a beautiful neckline or shoulders. A bit of bang in the front, like this picture shows, is very beautiful too. A traditional wedding updo-style . Wearing Your Hair Down ~~ A relaxed and casual look, wearing your hair down has become quite popular lately with celebrities like Eva Longoria-Parker and Tori Spelling wearing this style for their wedding days. Soft, tousled waves make wedding hair worn down perfect for your special day. . A wedding hair style worn down Wedding Hair Undecided ~~ Can’t decide between your wedding hair worn up or worn down? Wedding Hair Questions Wedding Hair Frequently Asked Questions “Wedding Hair Questions” My clients often ask me more questions about their wedding day hair than any other hair style I ever do for them. I have compiled the most common questions I’m asked so as to help you with your wedding hair too! I want long hair for my wedding, but my hair is so short now, what can I do about that? My Answer: It’s not always realistic for you to grow out super short hair to long lengths within the time frame of planning your wedding. You can begin growing your hair out now and add extensions or hair pieces later on if your hair is still not at your desired length. Also, hair grows about ¼ to ½ an inch per month, so if your wedding is six months from now, you can expect your hair to grow a total of 1 ½ to 3 inches by then. Keep in mind that you still need regular trims (about every 6-8 weeks) to keep your hair in a healthy state. How far in advance should I schedule my hair appointment? My Answer: I’d suggest scheduling it as soon as possible. Consider at least 3-6 months before your wedding day. That way you will not only be getting the exact time you want and need for your appointment, but other arrangements that need doing can easily be made around your timing. Is a trial wedding hair style necessary? My Answer: Absolutely! Definitely do a trial run-through of the wedding hair style that you want. This will give you and your hair stylist the opportunity to see how it looks on you, as well as adjust any parts of the hair style you may want altered. What should I do the day of my wedding to be prepared to have my hair styled? My Answer: I would suggest washing your hair the day before instead of that day. Second day hair tends to hold a hair style better. Also, don’t forget to wear something that is easy to remove after we’ve styled your hair. I suggest a robe or button/zip up shirt. This way ... |

Wedding Hair . Wedding Hair Style Should be One of The Earliest Decisions For Brides “Wedding Hair Tips” I had one of those particularly fun hair style classes the other night where a “bride to be” came with a couple of trusted friends to see if she could get some ideas for the right wedding hair style for the big day. She had that glow about her, that only young brides get, as they juggle the hundreds of details for the biggest day she is likely have for many years to come. The whole class caught a bit of the “glow” that she was experiencing, as we all were remembering a similar time and similar feelings. The enthusiasm was catchy and there was a buzz and everyone was excited to share thoughts and suggestions with each new wedding hair style was created on the computer screen. She found some great looking wedding hair updo’s and colors for her hair highlights. She hadn’t yet found a hairdresser that she liked, but she left with some solid recommendations from the fourteen other attendees. The two friends, who were to be her bridesmaids, also got some new wedding hair ideas to tryout. Driving home I reflected on how much fun this class was and how I have been neglecting those of you who are regular readers who might be taking that big walk down the isle soon. Here is an interesting wedding hair style article that I recently came across: | “ | | ,, | Read the entire ar... |
